Poolbeg Lighthouse, A Wayfinding Concept

“Poolbeg Lighthouse, A Wayfinding Concept” is an interactive design project that explores the cultural and historical significance of Poolbeg Lighthouse through a blend of physical signage and digital storytelling..The project emphasizes user interaction, narrative immersion, and place-based memory, creating a multimedia journey that bridges past and present.It aims to leave the audience with a deeper appreciation for one of Dublin’s most iconic landmarks.This booklet presents conceptual designs and mock-ups for a proposed wayfinding system and story trail experience at Poolbeg Lighthouse. The project explores how interpretive design can enhance visitor engagement with the site’s heritage and landscape.
